Wine Overview
According to legend, humans requested protection from Maddi, the Goddess of the Earth, against Gaueko, the God of darkness.
Maddi blessed them with her two daughters, Ilargi (the Moon) and Eguzki (the Sun). As humans did not feel safe, Maddi gave protection to those houses with the flower of sun, Eguzkilore on their entrance.
Tasting Notes
Sight: Garnet-cherry with good depth of colour.
Smell: Good aromatic intensity. The spicy notes stand out over the good varietal fruit (blackberry and plum) with balsamic aromas. You can also pick out hints of toasted wood and bakery aromas. Mineral base.
Taste: Pleasant to drink, juicy and very supple. The sensations from the aromatic phase return with a lovely, soft tannin sensation. Very long finish.
